Benjamin Ho

MA(MFT), MBA, M.Div.

Benjamin is currently in Canada for further studies. His specialties are in couples, trauma and in managing major life transitions. In Canada, he is a Registered Clinical Counselor with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counselors and a Canadian Certified Counselor with the Canadian Counseling and Psychotherapy Association. In Singapore, he is a Registered Counselor and Clinical Supervisor with the Singapore Association for Counseling and a Registered Psychologist with the Singapore Psychological Association. He was an adjunct lecturer and practicum supervisor with the National Insititute of Education (2006), Nanyang Polytechnic (2007) and Uni. SIM. (2008).


Sister Elizabeth Tham

MEd (Educational Psychology), CTRTC

Sister Elizabeth Tham is a Canossian Sister who is currently residing in Australia. She was trained as an educational psychologist in UK from 1990-1992.  She specializes in the use of Choice Theory / Reality Therapy and is a founding member and past president of the Singapore Association for Reality Therapy as well as a Senior Faculty Instructor of the William Glasser International.


Garry Garnaut

Garry has a B.Ed. and a Masters in Counselling and is a registered counsellor with the Counselling Association of South Australia and the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia. He is an Advanced Instructor for the William Glasser International and works locally, nationally and overseas in this capacity.

Garry’s professional career has involved periods as a high school teacher, classroom consultant, counsellor, support services manager, school leader, and working in the private sector as a rehabilitation counsellor and  as  a  group educator in  communication and  assertion skills. For 6 years he was the Principal of Bowden Brompton Community School. It is the only alternative high school in South Australia that enrolls students through the interagency process due to their complex family, welfare and emotional issues.

During his busy career and in his leadership position, Garry has maintained an ongoing parallel interest in counselling and educating adults and adolescents in assertion skills and personnel growth conducting workshops for school staffs, parents and allied professionals in health and welfare.

Garry retired from education in August 2012. Currently, Garry sees himself as semi-retired, spending his time doing some training work in Choice Theory, Reality Therapy and Lead Management as well as babysitting his 22 month old grandson one day a week, house renovating, fishing, sailing and camping and generally enjoying the benefits of retirement after a 40 year working career.


Irene Chua

Principal Counselor, Counseling Psychotherapist, Clinical Supervisor

Irene, a Canadian Certified Counselor, resides in Canada and provides consultation, counseling, clinical supervision and personal therapy for counselors online. When in Singapore, she provides face-to-face counseling, therapy and coaching to individuals and couples. She also conducts clinical supervision, workshops and training to organizations and the public.

As one of her trainees has put it, Irene is a compassionate and encouraging mentor who “walk the talk”. Irene has closed to three decades of professional experience. She started off working for the Samaritans of Singapore for 6 years, handling clients who are facing life’s crisis. From there, her passion to do more has motivated her to work in Family Service Centres for 14 years. Since then, she has provided services in Individual Therapy, Couple Therapy, Family Therapy, Family Life Education Workshops, and Mandatory Counseling among others. She spearheaded the Blended Family Programmes in 2002. She has also extensive experience in the training of volunteers, supervision of fellow counsellors/ master students in counseling courses and in cyber-counseling.  In 2005, Irene conducted training and sharing of cyber-counseling at the University of South Australia for a Doctorate program. She was a consultant and trainer to Audible Hearts from 2006.

Irene has a Master degree in Social Science (Counseling) from the University of South Australia; Post-graduate Diploma Therapy in Satir Therapy from Satir Institute of the Pacific; Diploma in Clinical Supervision from Counseling & Care Centre in Singapore. In her on-going learning, she has acquired Systemic Family Therapy and many others that have empowered her to be more effective with clients and supervisees. She had also completed the course on The Fundamentals & More of EAP/EFAP which focuses on getting employees back to work effectively and productively.
